BBC Strictly Come Dancing star praises 'ray of sunshine' in emotional exit speech as they miss out on final

Pete Wicks has branded Jowita Przystal a 'ray of sunshine' as he paid tribute to his dance partner as they became the eleventh couple to leave Strictly Come Dancing.

The pair made it through to the semi-final of the BBC One dance contest despite doubts about Pete's dancing ability. They performed two dances on Saturday night (December 7) in a bid to make it through to next weekend's final but just missed out at the final hurdle.

During Sunday's (December 8) results programme, reality star and podcast host Pete and professional dancer Jowita faced the dance-off against Love Island star Tasha Ghouri and her professional dance partner Aljaz Skorjanec. After their dances, judges Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke all chose to save Tasha and Aljaz, who had received a perfect score for their waltz during the latest live show having fought back from last weekend's dreaded dance-off.
