BBC sparks sexism row over for making Danny Dyer a history teacher

The BBC has sparked a sexism row after lining up a star studded host of famous faces to provide school lessons amid coronavirus lockdown – by not including enough women.

Sir David Attenborough, Professor Brian Cox and footballer Sergio Aguero are among the stars drafted by the Beeb to offer their expertise on subjects including natural history, science and Spanish as part of the educational Bitesize Daily programme.

But a historian has taken issue with the fact that more men than women have been included in the line up of stars offering their time to teach the next generation.

According to The Sun, historian Kate Williams took particular issue with the fact that EastEnders star Danny Dyer was picked to teach history over Letitia Dean
