BBC star John Beattie was pulled over by police and breathalysed after someone mistakingly reported him for drink-driving. The Scotland Drivetime host had drunk a non-alcoholic beer with his fish and chips on the last day of his holiday when an onlooker misjudged the contents of his bottle and alerted officers.
62-year-old John, who is a former rugby union player, was then stopped by two cops as he made his way home to Glasgow after a short break in Islay.
