The BBC has issued an apology after one of its presenters called Dominic Cummings a "d***." Radio Ulster listeners were tuning in to a 3pm bulletin, featuring an update to Cummings' alleged breach of lockdown, when presenter Nuala McKeever was broadcast telling her colleagues what she thinks of the Prime Minister's chief adviser. "I was thinking he was such a d***," she scolded, "I had written his name as Richard Cummings.
Freudian slip or what?" Nuala was waiting for the bulletin to end to begin her show, where she's sitting in for Lynette Fay.
BBC Northern Ireland has since issued an apology for the slip. A spokeswoman said: "The comments were not intended for broadcast and should not have been. "This interruption to our news bulletin
