That’s one way to stay on topic? Mr Cummings was criticised for travelling to Durham, after his wife began experiencing coronavirus symptoms.
He was also accused of visiting Barnard Castle, 30 miles away from where he was staying – later claiming that the drive was so he could test his eyesight, as his vision had been blurred.
Mr Cummings held a televised press conference earlier this week defending his actions, insisting he acted ‘legally and reasonably’ while worried for his wife and child.
