WEATHER-MAN Owain Wyn Evans has just announced a huge new role, replacing a radio legend. The Welsh star, who is best known for working on BBC Breakfast, has landed an exciting gig on BBC Radio 2.
Owain, 38, is taking over Vanessa Feltz' old Early Breakfast Show slot, after she made the decision to step down in July. In a new move for BBC Radio, Owain's show will be recorded at the BBC Cymru Wales broadcast centre in Cardiff.
This will make it the first ever live Radio 2 weekday show which is permanently recorded outside of London. He shared the news on Twitter, writing: ".
