She went on to talk about a newspaper article about woman who had 23 disposable contact lenses lost in her eye. “I sympathise with this woman because this has happened to me, not to the same extent,” said Naga. "I wear contact lenses and they can sometimes get lost in the eye. “Very, very rarely but sometimes it does and it can be very painful.
I’ve had one lost in my eye, a woman has had 23 disposable contact lenses removed from her eye. “The woman was in her 70s and was avoiding visits - this is a lesson to see your doctor if you’ve got a problem, right? “She’d been avoiding visits with her eyes doctor because she feared being infected with Covid. “But then she’s told this story that she went in and she felt something foreign in her right eye. "She managed to find a few of them, get them from her eye, and then spotted more of them. “She then had her assistant record the removal, she filmed it on her phone."
