Bayern Munich are looking to bring back native German goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen to the Bundesliga after talks with their current number one, Manuel Neuer, hit a snag and discussions over a new deal have been put on hold.
The 27-year-old Barca keeper has stalled contract talks with his side, just as the German outfit's talks with Neuer have been thrown into doubt after he rejected an extension on his current deal, with just one year left remaining, according to Diario Sport.
Bayern have already signed young German keeper Alexander Nübel from Schalke 04 on a free transfer and believe the 23-year-old is one of the hottest goalkeeping prospects around – but they are reportedly looking for someone to hit the ground running.
