dailyrecord.co.ukAyrshire home and attacked a couple with a hammer and a knife last night. Officers in Irvine are appealing for information after the terrifying attack, which left a 30-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man seriously assaulted in their own home.
At around 10.10pm on Thursday night the man and woman were within their property on Seaton Terrace in the North Ayrshire town when two men entered the property and attacked them with a hammer and a knife.
It is unknown whether they left in a vehicle or on foot.Both men are described as being around 6ft tall and were both wearing balaclavas.
