A man was walking his terrier dog there when a 'husky-type dog' launched a brutal attack on the pup. The male in charge of the aggressive dog, which was off the lead, then acted in a “threatening manner” towards the owner of the injured dog.The poorly pup required emergency surgery to save its life after the incident.Now police are appealing from anyone with information over the attack to help them with their investigation.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police wish to hear from any witnesses in a bid to identify the suspect.
