A baby's clothes were set alight after thugs threw a lit firework into the child's pram from a passing car. The horrific incident occurred on November 6 in Dunstable, Bedfordshire, as a car passed the buggy near a junction.
Police say the firework was thrown from a small hatchback car which fled the scene as the child's clothing was left smouldering.
The child needed to be doused, but thankfully did not sustain any injuries. Police have launched a manhunt for the group of yobs following the random attack.
