A popular Ayrshire beach fireworks display is set to return with a bang. The skies above Barassie beach in Troon will light up again for Bonfire night after years in Covid exile.

The popular event staged by Troon Round Table is set for a stunning comeback this Saturday.And organisers have told of their delight to see the crowds return for the first time since 2019.A spokesperson for Troon Round Table told Ayrshire Live: “We are delighted to be able to bring back our community fireworks event for 2022 having missed it over the last few years“This year we hope many will come and enjoy the display at 7.30pm at Barassie beach.”Organisers have been handed a travel boost with Troon Port allowing the use of their car park amidst more planed rail strikes for Saturday.And motorists choosing to park at the ABP ports site could help out an Ayrshire charity, with Whiteleys Retreat and Ayrshire Cancer Support the chosen causes.
