Long queues have formed outside KFC branches across Greater Manchester during the Bank Holiday weekend. The fast food chain made the decision to re-open some of their restaurants on May 4.

Fast food fans were desperate to get their fix of fried chicken this weekend and travelled to the restaurant to pick up a drive-thru meal.

In Levenshulme, there were around 50 drivers seen queueing outside the local branch. Images show a security worker directing cars to the correct collection windows.

Neighbours in the area said the queue has sometimes been backing up onto the A6, causing traffic problems for drivers. A long line of drivers could also be seen waiting to collect a KFC on Rowlands Way, in Wythenshawe.
