Tyrone Mings says Aston Villa's bid to avoid relegation would be hit by playing games behind closed doors. The England international defender says a packed out 42,000 Villa Park crowd is something that drives them on.
Villa are currently in the bottom three two points adrift of Bournemouth, Watford and West Ham but with a game in hand. Mings believes the same following that roared them to a grandstand gallop to promotion last season could prove the difference again.
Villa looked to be out of contention when they strung together a 10-match winning streak to clamber into the play-offs and then clinched a top flight spot with a Wembley win over Derby.
