Jack Grealish has raised over £54,000 auctioning off his shirt from last season's controversial Second City derby. Aston Villa skipper Grealish netted the only goal of the March 2019 derby at Birmingham, having earlier been assaulted by home supporter Paul Mitchell at St Andrews.

Mitchell was subsequently jailed for his attack and Grealish has now raffled off his No.10 shirt from the game to raise funds for the NHS.

Over 3,500 fans paid £10 a go for a chance to win with all proceeds going to NHS Charities Together in the wake of the coronavirus.

Grealish’s former Villa team-mate Gabriel Agbonlahor last month raised £16,872 after holding a raffle for one of his Second City derby shirts.
