Aston Villa star Jack Grealish has raised over £55,000 for the NHS after auctioning off his match-worn shirt from last year's Second City derby.

During the match, the Villa captain was assaulted by a Birmingham fan in a shocking on-field event. Grealish scored the only goal of the match which helped Dean Smith's side land a play-off spot.

Villa would go on to win the play-offs after beating Frank Lampard's Derby in the final to send them to the Premier League. A man was arrested for 14 weeks following the assault on Grealish, who sold the No.
