An Asda truck driver found themselves stuck under a bridge while navigating their way through Handforth Dean. A queue of cars formed behind the driver on the A34, with one passenger capturing a photograph of the incident at around 4.30pm on Wednesday.
The passenger, who had been on his way to Handforth Dean Retail Park, home to shops including Tesco and Next, told the Manchester Evening News : "I felt sorry for the driver. "I just thought it was ironic that the bridge is at the entrance to Tesco - I don't know where they were going. "There were four or five cars behind me but it had only just happened.
