Supermarket giant Asda has released a new range of shimmering gins that will bring back memories of classic sweets from your childhood days.

The new sweet shop-inspired flavours include strawberry laces, cola cubes and rhubarb and custard to give your taste buds a real treat.

Priced at £18 each, the 70cl bottles can be found in stores from today (June 22). Each 'Extra Special' gin has a 40% alcohol by volume (ABV) percentage and pairs wonderfully with tonic water or lemonade for an ultimate summer tipple.

Even better, the drinks are infused with glitter to make for a shimmery G&T. But this isn't the first time Asda has launched a selection of gins inspired by popular traditional sweets.
