The rules on face coverings and when they should be worn in public are about to undergo a major change. As of Friday (24 July), it's mandatory in England to wear masks or another protective covering in shops and supermarkets.
But there are exemptions regarding who must wear masks, Surrey Live reports. It's all part of the changes in coronavirus lockdown restrictions being brought in by the Government.
They are also strongly recommending that face coverings are worn in any enclosed public space where social distancing - the one metre plus ruling - is not possible.
The Government has handily printed a list who and who does not have to wear face masks. The top of the list is children under the age of 11, who will not be required to do so.
