Arsenal have endured a difficult season despite adding some quality names in the summer. Mikel Arteta is in the midst of his first full season in charge and signed the likes of Thomas Partey and Gabriel before the campaign got underway.
But the Gunners are in danger of missing out on European football with an evident gulf in quality between them and the league's top sides.
Arsenal are therefore going to need to invest once more with several areas of their squad needing strengthening. Arteta is benefitting from several loan stars, such as Dani Ceballos and Martin Odegaard, but they may be unable to retain the players beyond this season.
