Mikel Arteta has admitted that Arsenal have some bad news on the injury front after another blow to the squad. It comes after a 2-0 win against Newcastle, which would have surely boosted morale for a side lacking confidence.
Mohamed Elneny scored the opener in the first five minutes before Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang made sure of the result. It would have no doubt left Arteta with a smile on his face to see his main man get back on the scoresheet.
Aubameyang has struggled for fitness in recent weeks after contracting malaria. But the Gabon international hitting form just before Arsenal's biggest game of the season will be good news for the Gunners.
