Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has been urged to drop Dani Ceballos from his starting line-up for the remainder of the campaign by club legend Ian Wright.

Ceballos is approaching the end of his second season on loan at the Gunners from Real Madrid with reports that he is likely to return to Spain at the end of the campaign.

The midfielder has started 24 games for the North London club so far this season and was sent-off in the first leg of the side’s Europa League semi-final first leg defeat at Villarreal last week.

Ceballos started in the two-goal victory at Newcastle this weekend alongside Mohamed Elneny but Wright believes that the Egyptian is a better option in the position.
