Alexander Isak was left completely red-faced after getting booked for taking an 'illegal penalty' during Real Sociedad victory over Elche in La Liga on Sunday.The Swedish striker thought he'd equalised after converting from the penalty spot, but his poor attempt at a stuttered run-up ended up costing him.
For some bizarre reason, Isak decided to stop dead in his tracks - which is against the rules - allowing the keeper to dive out of the way, before slotting the ball home on the other side.It was immediately flagged by the referee, who pulled out a yellow card and awarded an indirect free-kick as Elche's players began swarming around him.
