Arsenal hero Ray Parlour wants to see his former side ‘gamble’ on incoming summer transfers. Mikel Arteta has seen his side stall before and after the restart and look set to finish around mid-table in the Premier League after a dismal start under Unai Emery.
The Spaniard has shown confidence in his out of form players in recent weeks and handed David Luiz a contract extension much to the confusion of Gunners supporters.Parlour, who won three league titles during his time at the club between 1992 and 2004, believes the squad needs a big investment if they are to change their current fortunes. “Arsenal have got to look bigger, there’s no doubting that,” said Parlour in an interview with the Daily Mail.
