The Gunners had a two-goal margin - thanks to goals from Eddie Nketiah and Nicolas Pepe - but were shocked to see the Black Cats pull one back through a well-worked attack through the heart of their defence.Nathan Broadhead finished off from the neat through ball he received from Elliot Embleton - but it was the dogged efforts of Alex Pritchard in the centre of the pitch that saw the northeast side manage to claw one back in the first half.Arsenal went on to win the game 5-1 - but their fans were livid to see such a goal transpire, with most of the fume directed at right-back Cedric.
