Arsenal have continued their shake-up behind the scenes at the Emirates by bringing in a new contract negotiator. Richard Garlick has left his role at the Premier League to take up the job at Arsenal.Garlick, previously a director at West Bromwich Albion, won’t join immediately but will rather join within the next few months.His appointment is the latest off-pitch move by Arsenal, following on from their decision to give Mikel Arteta the role of manager rather than head coach.Since then, he has worked with Edu with regards to transfer activity and recruitment, with the latter responsible for a large amount of incoming players.Now, Garlick will come in to help the recruitment team, and will predominantly work with contracts.The Athletic.
