Arsenal are confident that up to eight staff and players will be given the all-clear after their coronavirus scare. Four members of staff and a small number of first team players - the club say less than five - have been put into self isolation until Thursday after Arsenal postponed their game at Manchester City.

The biggest fear among clubs and the Premier League is a player testing positive because that would mean the club would have to effectively be shut down for two weeks - and threaten the whole of the league programme being completed.

It comes after Olympiacos owner Evangelos Marinakis publicly admitted he had contracted the coronavirus and had attended the Emirates for their Europa League tie on Thursday, February 27.
