Eric Bailly will return to Manchester on Monday after being given the all-clear following his head injury scare at Wembley. Bailly suffered a nasty gash and concussion after a sickening clash of heads with Manchester United team mate Harry Maguire in the FA Cup semi final.
United defender Bailly initially walked off but then looked in serious distress and medics rushed to his aid before he was stretchered off the pitch.
Bailly had concussion and a pain in his neck so was sent for a scan and was moved from a private hospital where they did not have the right equipment to St Mary’s in nearby Paddington for thorough checks.
