Arsenal have completed the signing of winger George Lewis who has penned a professional contract with the club. The winger has spent the last few seasons playing in the lower tiers of the Norwegian football league.
Despite being born in Rwanda, Lewis moved to Norway when he was a child and eventually joined the academy at Tromso. From there he signed for Tromsdalen, then Fram Larvik - both of whom are in Norway's second tier.
He played for Larvik until the end of last season but becomes the latest youngster to join the Gunners' under-23 side. Interestingly Lewis was actually spotted while playing in a 9vs9 tournament while on trial with third division outfit Floya.
