Arsenal booked their spot in the FA Cup final as they knocked out Manchester City with a fine defensive performance and two excellent Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang goals at Wembley.
City dominated the early throes of the game, but were almost caught by a sucker punch on 15 minutes, only for Aubameyang to fire straight at Ederson when clean through.
Two minutes and 11 seconds later, the Arsenal captain made no mistake with a more difficult chance, turning a fine half-volley into the bottom corner after an 18-pass move that had started in the Gunners' own penalty area.
City continued dominating possession but Arsenal had more cutting edge throughout the first period, with Ederson keeping them at bay.
