Arrested teen released under investigation after pedestrian critically hurt in crash

Emergency services rushed to Ashton Old Road in Openshaw just before 3am on Sunday morning, August 29, to reports a pedestrian had been hit by a car.

An 18-year-old was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and driving under the influence of drugs.
