Armed police 'surround car and drag three men out' after descending on street

manchestereveningnews.co.ukA large police presence has been spotted near a park after reports of 'armed officers surrounding a car'. Several police vehicles, including riot vans, have been spotted near to Buile Hill Park, in Salford, on Sunday afternoon.
Eyewitnesses reported seeing a Mercedes with a smashed window near to a set of traffic lights in Weaste Lane. They said they saw three men being dragged from the car before being searched by police officers.
The eyewitnesses to the dramatic incident added: "It looked serious. "The police had machine guns and their faces were covered." Greater Manchester Police have been approached for more information.
