Dog owner Lisa Torres was relieved when pet groomers were finally able to reopen for business and she booked in her pet Cheddar for a much-needed trim.
The shih tzu-poodle cross had gone the whole of lockdown without a haircut and mum-of-three Lisa said he had began to look like a 'mop bucket'.
She dropped him off at PetSmart in New Jersey, US, while she finished her shift at work, but was called back an hour early after sassy Cheddar had nibbled the groomer.
When she returned to the store full of apologies, she found they had managed to cut the hair on his body, but his patience had ran out before they could get to his head - leaving him 'looking like an alpaca'.
