Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.

Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

incident involving a car fleeing the scene.A huge police presence has been seen around the Aldi branch in the Newton Mearns, Renfrewshire area of the city tonight.Police were called to the scene of Pollokshaws Road around 3pm amid reports of a car being driven on the pavement before fleeing the scene.Details are unclear at this time but the Record has been told the incident involves armed cops, with roads reportedly sealed off near the supermarket.It is understood there is also a large police presence at nearby Stewarton Road.Pictures obtained by the Record from the scene show helmet-wearing police carrying rifles near the entrance of the shop.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police were called to Pollokshaws Road in Glasgow around 3pm.
