The brainy presenter, 76, graced the Countdown panel back in the Eighties and in the fabulous throwback clip fans would struggle to recognise her.Anne was sporting a mightily retro hair style and the look was also pre-surgery.
Anne has never shied away from admitting her love of a bit of “tweaking”. The clip, filmed in 1987, also featured the late Richard Whiteley as host.
As well as a massive red bouffant, Anne was also rocking a sparkly jumper complete with shoulder pads, of course. On seeing the clip, Anne said: “Yeah, not my first appearance.
