Ann Budge has pleaded with Scotland’s top-flight clubs to back her plans for reconstruction – and spare Hearts from being locked out of Scottish football’s big restart.Budge sent an emotional letter to each of the 12 Premiership clubs along with her revamp proposal.
The Hearts owner’s idea is centred around a three division model each comprising 14 teams which would allow her club a lifeline back into the top flight while also hauling Partick Thistle back up through the Championship trap door.
