Irish TV presenter Angela Scanlon has always appeared as though she can do it all—have a baby, return to work, and not feel the overwhelming pressure that can be placed on women in society.
However, in a recent interview with The Sun, Angela admitted that it’s not been as easy as it might seem. The mother-of-one said that after returning to work following the birth of her daughter in 2018, it took a long time to get to a point where she felt she could make herself a priority and that she’s not alone in this struggle—other women feel it too.
She said one valuable lesson she’s learned is to be kind—to yourself. Angela shared: ‘It’s more about giving yourself the compassion you would give a friend or sister, or a stranger who is under pressure
