Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer believes Angel Gomes has been told not to put pen to paper on a new contract by 'people around him advising him to do different things.'The highly-rated 19-year-old seems set to leave the United academy after refusing to sign a new deal with the club and his deal expires at midnight on Tuesday.Gomes snubbed United's opening offer of a new deal earlier this season and the forward has been unconvinced about his playing prospects at the club.Although United are understood to have submitted improved terms in a last-gasp bid to convince him to stay, his representatives were 'underwhelmed' by the offer.Solskjaer praised Gomes, who recently went viral in a video of him visiting a Nigerian pastor to heal.
