Gary Neville has warned Ole Gunnar Solskjaer over signing Odion Ighalo on a permanent basis. The Nigeria international joined Manchester United on loan from Shanghai Shenhua and has proved a fruitful acquisition.
Initially, the shock transfer was scoffed at by pundits and fans alike after a whirlwind deadline day in the January market.
Solskjaer was desperate to sign countryman Erling Haaland from RB Salzburg but he snubbed a move in favour of Borussia Dortmund.
But the former Watford star has silenced his doubters with some fine performances. In eight appearances, he has scored four times - including two in the Europa League.
