ancient Egyptian queen Cleopatra has been unveiled in a bombshell new documentary.Cleopatra has been immortalised throughout history as a beautiful leader and seductress.Her infamous relationship with Roman leader Julius Caesar was the focal point of the Oscar-winning 1963 epic of the same name and further instilled the aura around her.But new coins discovered at a historical site in Egypt suggest she may not have been the “classical” beauty that people assumed.The relics were found at Taposiris Magna, an ancient city near Alexandria, by Egyptologist Dr Kathleen Martinez and shown on new Channel 5 documentary The Hunt for Cleopatra’s Tomb.One side of the coins had an inscription “Queen Cleopatra”, while on the other her face was imprinted.
