Amazon is taking German coming-of-age drama We Children From Bahnhof Zoo global. The coming-of-age series, a modern-day update of the bestselling Berlin-set memoir Christiane F., is produced by Constantin Television and Amazon Studios in Germany.
In a deal announced Monday with Fremantle, which is handling world sales on the series, Amazon Prime will launch We Children From Bahnhof Zoo across several major territories including North America, the U.K.
and Australia/New Zealand, as well as in Italy, France and Spain. Amazon will bow the show in English-speaking territories on April 9.
We Children from Bahnhof Zoo is a serial updating and re-imagining of Christiane F., a memoir of a teenage drug addict, living in West Berlin in the late.
