Alex Dyer after a galling collapse against St Johnstone left the Ayrshire side ninth. The hosts took a 2-0 lead a Rugby Park thanks to goals from Chris Burke and Aaron Tshibola.But Killie collapsed after the break as they shipped three to compound a run of just three wins in 11 games.
It left Dyer with the worst points-per-game record of any Kilmarnock manager since their return to the top flight, and it was enough for the club to call time on his reign.
