Ajax have confirmed Manchester United are interested in signing highly-rated Dutch midfielder Donny van de Beek. Van de Beek is valued at £46million by Ajax, and Manchester United have been scouting the 23-year-old for some time.
Real Madrid were favourites to land the midfielder in this summer's transfer window, but the global coronavirus pandemic has sparked much financial uncertainty.
Manchester United are now looking to hijack the deal, but remain interested in Dortmund forward Jadon Sancho and Velez prospect Thiago Almada.
