By David Robb Labor Editor In an unprecedented step, the Film Musicians Secondary Markets Fund will distribute $99 million to some 17,000 members of the American Federation of Musicians and their beneficiaries on May 22 – more than five weeks ahead of the originally scheduled delivery date of July 1.
The move is in response to the impact the coronavirus shutdown has had on professional musicians working in film and television production.
