Following the groundbreaking release of “Avatar” in 2009, James Cameron’s epic sci-fi franchise about a humanoid species called the Na’vi is finally back with the first of several sequels. After a 13-year gap, the saga will pick up with “Avatar: The Way of Water” in December before continuing on with what are currently being dubbed “Avatar 3”, “Avatar 4” and “Avatar 5” in 2024, 2026 and 2028, respectively.

Taylor Swift was reportedly asked to host the 2023 Super Bowl halftime show, but turned down the offer because the timing is not right. According to TMZ, Swift was approached by the NFL to host the next Super Bowl, but she declined, stating she does not want to perform the big event until she finishes rerecording her first six albums. A representative for Swift did not immediately respond to Fox News’ request for comment.

Oscar winner Louise Fletcher has died at the age of 88.The actress' family revealed to Deadline that Fletcher passed away peacefully at her home in Montdurausse, France but did not disclose a cause of death.She famously played Nurse Ratched in the Miloš Forman-directed 1975 film One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, which also starred Jack Nicholson.The role earned her the Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role at the 1976 ceremony, as well as a Golden Globe and BAFTA Award. She was 88. The classic film, based on Ken Kesey’s novel and exploring the repressive tendency of authority through the story of the patients and staff of a psych ward, won five Oscars in 1976, including best picture and best actor for Jack Nicholson. “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” was the first film in more than four decades to sweep the major categories of best picture, director, actor, actress and screenplay.
