Adorable rescue dog can't have surgery to help him walk until he finds a home

A rescue dog who struggles to walk is ready to have surgery - but can't be given treatment until he finds a new home. Romeo the Yorkshire terrier has Luxating Patella, a condition in which results in the kneecap dislocating or moving out of position.

The cost of Romeo's surgery has already been covered, but he can't be left alone during the six to eight week recovery time so needs to find a home before he can undergo treatment, as reported by Grimsby Live.

It's a common condition in dogs, particularly in small and miniature breeds, but it doesn't stop 'ladies man' Romeo from living his life to the fullest.

The 11-year-old is currently being cared for at Jerry Green Dog Rescue in North Lincolnshire, where he's waiting to be given a forever
