Taylor Harwood-Bellis and Tommy Doyle, on loan at Anderlecht and Hamburg respectively, have been selected by manager Lee Carsley, as has Cole Palmer who is still at the club.
The Under 21s will face two European Championship qualifying matches in the upcoming window, as they travel to Slovenia and Andorra.
Palmer was especially impressive during the previous international break, as he netted on his debut for the Under-21 side, finishing off a brilliant run with a rasping finish in the 2-0 win over Kosovo.
