direct to your inboxA further 22 people have died in Greater Manchester's hospitals after testing positive for Covid-19.It brings the region's hospital death toll to 4,403, the latest NHS figures show.Across the UK the hospital death toll has increased by 789 which is the highest number recorded on a Saturday since May.England reported 625 fatalities, Scotland had 93, Wales recorded 62 and Northern Ireland had nine.In Greater Manchester in the last 24 hours eight more deaths were recorded at Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust.Bolton NHS Foundation Trust and Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust each reported another four deaths.Three people died at Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust, there were two deaths.
