Indoor gyms, swimming pools and leisure centres in England are able to open from Saturday for the first time in months. Under the new rules, exercise equipment will be spaced out and class sizes reduced to allow social distancing.
Dance classes and exercise sessions are likely to have markings on the floor to show you where to stand. People will be encouraged to arrive in their kit and to travel home to shower afterwards, although showers will be available.
Lockers are likely to be out of bounds and visitors should bring their own water as fountains will not be in use in many facilities.
