direct to your inboxUp to 1,500 former Thomas Cook are in line for a pay-out after an employment tribunal judgement, their union has announced.The Transport Salaried Staffs’ Association said a decision over the holidaymaker’s failure to consult before making redundancies means former employees could claim as much as £4,200 each from the Insolvency Service.
The union said there was no prior warning or consultation before Thomas Cook went into liquidation in September 2019, with around 1,500 employees in London, Manchester and Peterborough employees losing their jobs.
